Originally from Australia, Damion is the quintessential front man with an incredible range that delights and impresses every time.
Damion’s career has seen him appear in some of the most popular Australian and UK productions including Fame, Mamma Mia, Leader of the Pack, The King and I, Zorro and The Mikado and his accolades include a green room nomination for Best Supporting Actor in Shout the Musical. Following these successes, Damion has gone on to record and perform with the a cappella group The Flying Pickets, singing in venues all over Europe and adding a unique dimension to the line-up of many concerts and festivals.
Damion’s UK credits also include fronting The Eastcoast Boys, with his powerful falsetto paying recognition to the popular songs of Franki Valli and the Four Seasons. His talents also extend beyond his brilliant vocals. In 2009 his one-man show, The Bowlly Years, based on the life of 1930's crooner Al Bowlly was fronted and co-written by Damion himself and played to sell out London audiences. His cabaret work has taken him all over the world working with Royal Caribbean and Saga Cruises as well as seasons at Pizza on the Park Phesantry, Jermyn Street Theatre and The Crazy Coqs London. He has also performed as a solo vocalist in his show “Yesterday’s Heroes” – a celebration of tenors of Rock ‘n’ roll and his current show ‘Oh! Carol’ is treating audiences all over the UK to an unforgettable evening reliving the magic of the Neil Sedaka and Howard Greenfield partnership.
In 2013 Damion made his debut at the world renowned Royal Albert Hall when he was invited to perform as a featured vocalist with the highly acclaimed Kristin Chenoweth. Over the last few years, he has toured with the Spirit Production show New Jersey Nights performing to both local and international audiences. Damion continues to add to his extensive experience and most recently has been recruited to be part of the great British a cappella group “The Magnets”. Indeed, audiences and producers alike are continuously mesmerised and impressed by the unsurpassed vocals of Damion Scarcella.
